One of the hardest things I have done in my whole life was to move my Mother out of her home when my Father, her husband of 70 years, passed away. Mum could barely walk with her walker, ate very little and had no social life. She was just slowly slipping away. She just couldn't stay in their home. I met with Robin afew times, cried to her and asked her for her help. I just didn't know what to do or how to do it. Robin held my hand through the process of moving Mum into Fox Hollow and made sure we both adjusted to this new chapter positively.  I cried all the way home the day I left Mum. Fast forward 6 months....Mum looks 10years younger, she walks with almost a skip in her step, she has many new friends and has a new social life! She is happy, healthy and well looked out for. I cannot thank Robin enough for her help with this transition but all of the staff as well. Each and every staff member is caring, patient and so kind. Having a loved one in an assisted living facility is never an easy thing, but I am very pleased with the care my family member is receiving at Fox Hollow. The facility is very clean and inviting and residents can participate in a number of engaging activities and programs.  The dining room offers a good variety of nutritious meals and the weekly laundry service is great. I am particularly impressed with the staff.  They are very friendly and really seem to care about the residents and meeting their needs. The Executive Director and all the administrative staff are outstanding too.  They don't stay hidden away in their offices, but instead are often seen out greeting residents/visitors and filling in where needed even doing some of the hands-on, and sometimes unpleasant, tasks.

My FIL moved in to Fox Hollow in February of 2023 from out of state after the death of his spouse.  He has moderate dementia but is very social and physically strong.  The staff has been remarkable in engaging him where he is at in both areas.  They personally greet residents and visitors by name.  They come around to remind residents of meals 3 times a day plus deliver snacks 3 more times. He is gaining weight from the great food and feels well enough to walk around the grounds almost daily to combat that! Dad is very happy and loves the staff and other residents. The facility has been recently updated with new manufactured flooring in rooms and carpet/décor in common areas.  His laundry is done weekly and his room cleaned twice weekly, haircuts (for a small fee) monthly.  He receives medications twice daily and the amazing staff nurse coordinates his meds with his doctor and the local pharmacy to keep things running smoothly.  There are a variety of activities daily and residents are asked/encouraged to go each time by the wonderful activities director and staff.  The administrative and front desk staff are kind, caring and fun.  Most importantly, the same staff has been there for years, including the executive director.  They helped us through the admission paperwork, emotional transition and even helped identify additional resources dad would qualify for. Our visits are welcomed and encourages us to help him remain an active part of the family. Fox Hollow has been the best of places to land after difficult circumstances. My MIL has been at Fox Hollow for only a few months but I am so happy with the staff and the environment they have provided. Every time I pop in to visit she is doing an activity or engaged with either a staff member or resident. My 90-year-old mother lived at Fox Hollow for only one month due to rapidly declining health. I was present at least 8 hours every day and towards the end much more than that. Having seen so many of the staff working not just with my Mom but with other residents (public spaces only), I feel confident in saying that the team at Fox Hollow are fantastic. The compassion and care they have shown from start to end have far exceeded expectations. I can compare this to the time my Mom spent in a rehab facility immediately before coming to FH and it was night and day. The FH staff were so warm, welcoming and attentive to my Mom’s needs. It was clear from the start that FH had oversight over my Mom and her best care and interest in mind. Staff were transparent with communicating challenges that my Mom faced and I felt we could work as a team to improve things for my Mom. By contrast, the staff at the previous rehab facility delivered their jobs, but no one seemed to have the energy or interest in the wider picture or in keeping me informed about the care my Mom was receiving. I also frequently tried the food at Fox Hollow. While it may not always looked pretty on the plate, I can say from experience that the vast majority of meals were delicious and the variety seemed endless. Most of the entrees I only had the opportunity to taste once. (If only my culinary repertoire were so extensive with my family!). I would have zero reservations about recommending Fox Hollow to anyone. The senior managers and staff are Carers with a capital ‘C’ - with emphasis on Care, Compassion, and Kindness. I will always be grateful for their support and will remember the names and faces of those who made such a great difference in the final weeks of my Mom’s life.

My dad has been there.  He is well taken of.  He also likes the food.  They watch after him and help him when needed.  Nice, clean and a good place for him to finish out his final days!  (99 and ten months old)!!!!!

My husband is a resident of Fox Hollow in the memory care unit.  I am very pleased with the professionalism of all the staff and the high level of care that he receives. The Fox Hollow team make sure that there are plenty of activities to engage the residents. And from what I saw on my visits to the community (with appropriate precautions against COVID) it is obvious that all of the care team really do care about the residents. It was a very hard decision to move my husband into Fox Hollow, but I feel very comfortable that this is the best and safest place for him to be right now.  He tells me that the food is good, and he seems much happier than he was before the move.
